7 Unique Reasons To Choose A Homestay In Tinchuley Over Hotels!

Are you a traveller who loves to try new things while travelling? From the popular tourist destinations to the remotest corners, do you wish to explore India in a unique way? Well, homestays in Tinchuley can be your best travelling decisions if you don’t want to be a camera-and-bottle wielding visitor like every other tourist!
Remember, the Indian saying- Athithi Devo Bhava? Believe it or not, but nothing can be a more delightful experience than staying at a homestay to enjoy the true Indian hospitality. From being a part of the local culture, eating the native cuisine to exploring the large kitchen inventory of the hosts, a homestay comes with a set of exciting opportunities!
Are you wondering what makes a homestay different than those luxurious stays? Scroll down to get your answers, then!

7 Reasons You Will Love Staying At A Homestay In Tinchuley
1.      Distinctive and Personalised accommodation
A luxurious hotel can offer you only a set of specific services based on your specifications and budget. However, a homestay provides you the liberty to set as per your own preferences regarding the amenities, food and activities. Amidst the hilltops of Tinchuley, you can have a distinctive stay, personalised as per your needs!
2.      Local Knowledge
While a hotel can provide you with a guide, nothing can match the services offered by a host at these homestays. Your host can give you valuable insights which are not even mentioned in a guide book. Such is their local knowledge that you are assured to have an incredible experience while exploring Tinchuley.
3.      Savour local delicacies
A homestay in Tinchuley brings forth the exclusive opportunity where you can enjoy home-cooked local delicacies. You can even learn what goes into the preparation of their local cuisine. Thus, you can be free from hunting for local restaurants.
4.      Have your own Sherpa!
Do you think anyone can know Tinchuley better than a person who was born and raised in that place? Well, a homestay allows you to use the vast network of your host to guide your travel there. From sharing the contact details of a local auto driver to the closing time of the Tinchuley monastery, you can get vital information from your host!
Some More Reasons To Choose A Homestay
5.      Be a part of responsible tourism
By choosing a homestay, you can contribute to the local community in Tinchuley. Since the economy of Darjeeling depends on its tourism to a large extent, you can add to the family income of a local there. Further, you can even buy handicrafts from the local artisans.
6.      Get personal attention
We all love personal attention, isn’t it? Well, homestays have hosts who pay special emphasis to the needs of travellers. Be it a sudden illness or midnight cravings, these hosts take utmost care of their customers.
7.      Feel like being at home
At a homestay in Tinchuley, you can have all the comforts of a home in a different backdrop. Staying at a personalised and warm environment has never been easier!
So what are you still thinking of? It’s time to find the best second home in Tinchuley. Hurry up and book your Homestay!

A Four Days Dooars Tour Package Becomes a Memorable Journey Forever

It passed an aeon; I did not taste the flavour of nature. The restless mind has become impulsive to have a sip of a vast forest. I was within myself but roamed over the jungle in my dreams. Suddenly, one of my friends came like a saviour with two railways tickets of Dooars. I said- Ah, this is the time to drink the life to the lees. Here we come Dooars.
The magic began from the train...

The 10 hours train journey passed like 10 minutes as I was over excited to quench my thirst, the thirst of nature. My friend took a deep sleep leaving me awake waiting for the very first sight of our destination. At last the NJP railway station had came and we stepped down the train.
As it was a sudden tour without proper planning I had no idea how to conduct the entire planning. A single phone call to a tour planner saved us and gave a wonderful Dooars tour package.

The never ending road story...

A maruti came within 30 minutes of the phone call and we were ready for the journey. It seemed to be a never ending journey to me as every moment that I spent with the beauty of nature turned into infinity. Garumara was our first destination.

The spellbound effect of the forest...

How could we skip the jungle safari? When jungle beckons can anyone resist? And we, the smallest creature of the vast nature, just continued wondering by its charm. I wondered how the tallest trees touched the sky to welcome the sun from the thick canopy of fog every morning. Though the brightest sun was there already and these fortunate two friends had a site of a one horned rhino that morning.
“Where is my camera”- cried my friend and the rhino had already been captured on my camera. I silently thanked the mother rhino (our tour guide said so) for adding a lifelong memory. After a tiresome day, though it was the most refreshing exercise for the mind, the calm elephants, the only vehicle of this safari dropped us to a lavishing forest resort. And I went to the bed waiting for the next day.

The alluring call of the mountain...

I never knew, foggy morning had an influential effect on the forest to turn it into a dreamy world. I felt the world had been wrapped in a thin white canopy. And the dream was over soon and our guide cum driver came with his most energetic maruti to take us to the Rocky Island- Samsing and Sutalekhola. As the maruti started climbing, we got mesmerised by the hills, fountain and the hilly forests that passed. Sometimes river Sankosh wished to be our companion and then just suddenly disappeared. For a long time, Tista was there with us.
Suddenly my over excited friends sought my attention to the Himalayan ranges. Mountains always make me cry. This time I failed to take a snap as I sublimed myself to the mountain.

Mountain men and their life...

The third day was kept for visiting Bindu, the last village of West Bengal. Nature had poured its beauty to this village. I felt that was the best place of living without worries and humdrum of the city life. I found the utopia in reality at last.
Back to the city...
As the fourth day came, I started crying within as this was the day to leave forest and go back to the city life. The tour planner arranged a sumptuous lunch as gratitude in a good restaurant and dropped us to NJP Station.  I said “Goodbye” loudly and “I will be back” in a low voice.
